Simple setup, simple question, but the diagrams are rather "varied", or whatever.

I have five keypads to control four zones, and want to know if the CB-8's 'output' connects to 'expansion' or 'RTI com' port on the XP-6. The latter is connected to the AD-4 from port1 to 'control' in via min-plug.

The basic commands were sent into the keypads and XP-6 without issue, show as 'updated'.

Years ago I did a fair bit of programming of T2 systems, but this is different and I don't want to mess anything up.

Once it selects source and vol works, then I can worry about some equipment macros.

Hardwired to LAN; router has found it, so that is OK

TIA,
Bruce

Expansion Port is what the manual shows.

I had already ventured that in my setup earlier today, but so far I have yet to switch on a zone in the AD-4, using the RKM-1+ keypads.

Oh, well, back to the drawing board... :)
