I am looking at getting into RTI, and had a few questions. I am currentrly an HAI
dealer and think HAI is very good at what it does. However, when it comes to AV control it falls flat on it's face. I am curious as to how much information the security panel will send to the RTI proccessor.

For example, can I write an automation sequence (RTI) based on an open/close of a security zone, regardless of the state (armed/disarmed) of the security panel?

Is programming much more complex than URC's complete control, or Pro Control Studio?

Also, looking at the KX-7, I am unclear about what it can do by itself without a proccessor.

I am very excited about RTI. from everything I have read, it looks like the solution I have been looking for, without going with Crestron or AMX. I could never sell enough of either of these to be a dealer.

this is a great forum with tons of knowledge. Thanks to everyone that contributes.

Rti can see everything the hai does. I love with this combo at home and install IR for clients. Zone status, button lists, arm status, lighting levels, thermostat temps and set points, etc and full control of all of it as well.

In my home I have no hai keypads, just Rti keypads controlling it because I lost no functions making the swap and gained a nicer looking interface with audio/video controls.

The only thing I found it can't see is your event list from the alarm. So you can't look back at the history via the Rti keypad. Otherwise it all carries over

Any omni panel with ip control that works with the snap link app uses the same protocol and will work with the Rti driver
