I had a client email me about some programming issues on his various remotes. I tried to open the files and I get a message that the file was created with a newer version of ID. We didn't originally program the system, it was a takeover.

I have ID9.1.1. I downloaded the full version of ID9.4.1 as well as the upgrade. Neither will run. Both said the version of ID cannot be determined. Computer is running Win 8.1. I tried running both regular and administrator mode. What do I have to do to upgrade this software?

RTI had a "feature" in at least one version of ID that you cannot extract the file from the gear. I would call them to confirm what you are running into.
When good enough is not good enough.

We extracted the file a while back (maybe close to a year) and was able to look at the files. Need to make some minor changes now and two of the files will not open (there are a total of 4).
