Wondering if anyone has had a problem with the 24.r skipping when changing channels or skipping to next song on cd. It is basically doubling the signal. Press skip on bluray and it jumps 2 ahead. Go to change channels and it jumps 2 ahead. It doesn't do it all the time but every couple presses of the remote. My installer is stumped. It's not interference because we powered off the Sonos and the Bell Fibe and the bluray still skipped. He changed the eyes and still same problem. We've gone thru 2 remotes and bases. The gear is only 8' behind us in the closet. He then pulled the base out of the closet, wired it up to a cat6 cable and placed it right in front of the tv. It wasn't as bad as before but still skipped.
Could it be possible that we received 2 defective pcs in a row? He said he installs them every week and has never seen this before.
We are going to call RTI tomorrow and ask them if they can figure it out.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks

Have you tried changing the default repeats of the controlled device down?

I have not had any repeat issues on the procontrols we have done.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

Time to definitely find a new installer. This is some really basic stuff.

yes, the installer said he put them down to zero and still the same results. They tried the remote back at the store this morning and they were having the same problem there. He has sent my file off to Pro Control and their engineers are looking into it.
Besides this problem, they had to take back 2 Pioneer bd62's. First one would not turn on and froze up, second one, no sound. This has been a month now.
Completely frustrated.

He can turn sustain off on the IR, turn the IR output down, relearn the code. Their are many things they could have done and is a basic issue that as others stayed is usually very easily resolved with just a few check boxes and setting changes

Yea.. really !!!

This installer prob. has all the IR ports selected as well through out the system file. Only check off the IR ports being used for each device. Also turn down the IR as well.

let me know where I can send the invoice !

Hello: I happen to be the installer on this particular job. This is indeed a ProControl issue as the skipping continues while not using a base station. I have been in contact with ProControl and they are try to resolve the issue. I have completed to date 48 ProControl combos and i am certain that my programming is not to blame for this issue. If you would like to discuss anything related to programming please let me know. This problem exist with or without a base station.

Regards
