Hello everybody,

It has been a while since I have posted, but I just finished a new free download for ID and I wanted to share it with the RTI community.

There are two version of the file. One is specifically for Fahrenheit and the other is for Celsius. They have a completely different set of imagelists that display the current (ambient) temp and set temps on the virtual Nest dial.

I already changed every command to Celsius for Nest, so all you have to do is load in the Nest and weather drivers. Just be sure to set the weather for metric in the Celsius version and they are good to go. I could not include the drivers in the project file for obvious reasons. The weather pages have Nest integration, so you can view the ambient temp on the last selected thermostat and jump directly to control from weather.

Lastly, if anyone is using the Euro RT templates, these are designed to match. There is also a weather shortcut button that is also an imagelist which displays the current condition and temperature. It will change to a darker purple after sunset with a night current condition graphic.

Both projects are dual orientation as well.

Download links: Updated to fix daytime weather condition graphic order 9/30/2014 @ 12:00 noon CST.

Celsius variation is newly added: [Link: blackmancustoms.com]

Any feedback is welcome. Enjoy.

Noel

One more small note: If you plan on moving or copying the virtual thermostat to a different resolution, be sure to turn on "show hiddden buttons" and select the entire virtual thermostat graphics and graphics that appear in the center. There are dozens of stacked text and driver / flag driven images which are perfectly aligned and it will make your life a whole lot easier.

I did, in the custom graphics section. This whole thing started out as a simple way of displaying the Nest temp feedback text only. All of the virtual feedback came later.

The Celsius version has 5 imagelists to display the temps on the "ring" properly. Each imagelist has 233 png files in it. That is why they are separated. The Fahrenheit works completely different and has it's own set to display the temp feedback graphically.
