So I've acquired a RTI T2+ remote, I have the integrator software downloaded and installed, but when I plug in the remote, nothing is recognized. My laptop (running windows 7) just installed a basic driver, which I'm assuming is the issue. Does anyone know the name of the proper driver? And yes, I'm aware of RTI's nazi-esque guarding of their software, but this puppy is REALLY old....so I doubt they'll mind my tinkering.

Also I should mention, I've done my best to scour the forums from back in the day about this remote, but to no avail.

The RTI USB installation file (rtiusb2_install.exe) is located in the Drivers folder within the Integration Designer installation directory:

I guess Control 4, Crestron, AMX, Elan, HAI, Savant and a dozen others are also "Nazi-esque". I prefer the word "proprietary".

"Tomato tomahto" Proprietary means "dig harder for the software".

All's well, it decided to play nice :)

Do you mean the integration designer software, or the first generation RTI software you can down load from remote central?
