Hi All

I'm just ordering an stuff for an XP-8S based setup. I need to finalize this evening. I'm going to be including some KX2's, but not sue if I need a CB-4/8.

I've read the install guide and it shows POE and a connection to a CB-8. Is this an either/or option or do I need both? I'm hoping I can just use Ethernet with POE.

Also, anyone used with Netgear or POE switches?

Thanks

Mark

to answer the first part of your question: I believe it is either or:

if you power the TP by POE and have an Ethernet connection to it, you do not need a CB-4/8

I haven't used Netgear. We use Cisco small business class POE switches with good success and also on the higher end use packedge also with no issues
