When I upgraded my ID software, many of my commercial clients were programmed in 9.1. 9.3 Recovery Wizard will not pull the files from the in wall panel or the processors. According to support, this is a hit and miss deal. Does anyone have a work around other than totally rebuilding the file for each control device. Or...a copy of 9.1?
Unlike a hand held remote, you cannot pull files from a device tied to a processor and is a control system. Recovery is the only way and so far no luck.
Next time my laptop crashes, I will have the back up files on a portable drive. Shame on me.

Having 9.1 won't help you... The recovery won't work bc it was built in 9.1 originally and there was an error with 9.1. It's not bc you are using 9.3.
What happened to the original system files? You don't have them backed up somewhere...?

Have you tried to import the devices in from a new file? I had to do this when my laptop crashed and I did not have access to my backup files. I created a new blank file and imported all the devices in from a recovered version of the corrupt file.
I had to do some minor re-associations, but it beats trying to redo the entire file from scratch and also trying to recreate all the macros!
