We've been getting a lot of calls on these recently, especially from dealers on the east coast. They're excellent for cable boxes. RTI used to make something similar, but they discontinued it and now recommend this piece so I figured I'd post it here in case any of you guys are in need.

We used to use the CBAV units (formerly RF Systems) back in the day. they were composite and they also had audio sensors.

Nice to see the units have pass thru as well.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

FWIW...except for the fact that these are component sensors, they're essentially the same units. Our president was the originator of RF Systems and he's the one who designed those pieces. CBAV was a separate entity, but also sold them.
