OK... So....

I used to be an installer - do a search of my username... not many posts, but they are out there. I have a personal T2+ that I recently replaced with a T2B, that started to fail.

3rd time was the charm in battery changes... careful as can be, but the connector pulled out. Was able to solder it in place, and it seems to be working fine - however, every once in a while it would reboot on me. Not a huge deal, but I was guessing that it's time was up.

So, I bought a used T2B, and all is right with the world.

However, since the login/pass changed on the dealer website from the single login, I cannot update my software. Since I am no longer a dealer, I am stuck at version 7.1 and change.

Which, with the equipment I have, is currently fine. However, I don't have any backup install files, in case I get a crash. (Or firmware updates/new bells and whistles of the new software).

Is this something that RTI would give out, to someone who used to install? Or am I stuck playing Russian roulette when I need to and going the torrent route...

Do you just have a remote or do you have a processor too ?

I can't think of any updates that give anything extra to the t2b.

I don't know what RTI's stance on giving software to people who were installers, can't you speak to the company you used to work for ?

So... after verifying that I *was* a dealer, they gave me access. Now I can update some firmware

Didn't want to go through my old company at first - didn't want to put them in any sort of jeopardy (not that anyone would know.... etc)
