Do not rely on RTI's release date, nor anyones really. RTI just seems to be a few steps worse than most others. Also, NEVER spec anything until you have your hand on it first. Look at the T2x, all the hype for a mediocre remote. How they let that out the door with joy stick in it current condition is beyond me. The base station was also a huge step back.
When good enough is not good enough.

I can't believe on T2x and T2i, all the control tactile buttons are all the same shape and size and color, and what about shaping whole controller to fit a hand ........ Even a bigger version of pro control

......was there ever a prototype unit ( or even a drawing) put in front of anyone over 40 years old ? Or under 40 years old? Any normal non techy type person?

I do like the remote in many ways, but RTI had forever to get it right and leave all the competition in the dust ......

Bitch, bitch, whyne , whyne. Complain complain.....

While I'm at it..... No back lit buttons on Surfr Companion remote... Wutss with that? Who cares if it would cost a bit more, we are trying to make this stuff a nice experience for our clients to use. We as an industry have now had 25 years or more in the trenches. Collectively, we should be supplying a much better control experience for our clients.....

Any other news on the T2i besides 2 more weeks?

Until it's shipping don't spec it! First golden rule with Rti.

I need a couple stock units for when my T2 and T3 remotes fail in the field. It's a more cost effective option then a T2x.

All I think of is how not coming out with these vaporware models must be costing RTI hundreds and hundreds of thousands of $$ in lost business.

Time for new manufacturing partners I would say
