I am looking for help from another installer that has any experience with the newest RTI T2x remotes. I am trying to find a way to use/program the center thumbstick to be used on a HTPC as a mouse cursor.

the button pushes are so close together that using it is problematic

I ended up using it for lights: but only up and down: using all the buttons is where you run into problems

Thanks for the info & response. With more and more people using HTPC, ATV, XBMC, Roku, and the like I am surprised no one has added an actual touchpad or programmable joystick for mouse controls.

It's a shame the joystick looks nice but it is way too sensitive and will see multiple directions or clicks in one press from the user. I find only using up and down or only left and right is effective.
