Hello all,

I recently brought a new business in downtown Toronto.

I previous business owner had RTI audio system and I'm missing components.

Currently I have:

Each room
11 x Polk audio in-ceiling speakers
11 x RK1-8 in-wall universal controllers

At the back
1 x RK1 in-wall universal controller
2 x CB-8 connecting blocks

What do I need for power up this system ?

Thank you

Hello & welcome to the forum...

The RTI RK-1 can be used in many different ways. It can control RTI amplifiers such as the AD-4 or AD-8 but also has the ability to control almost any other manufactures equipment with the proper programming.

As I read your list above do you mean that you have 11 rooms and each of those rooms has an RK1-8 installed in it?

Based on the keypads ability it would be easier if you tell us what you want to be able to do.

Example:
How many different audio sources would you like to listen to? What will they be?

Do you want all rooms to listen to the same source at the same time or would you like to listen to "CD" in one room and "Radio" in another room simultaneously? Or a combination of both? You could group some rooms together.

Answer the above questions for starters and we can recommend some equipment based on your expectations.

The system generally would have a processor xp6 or xp8 in your case. Also you seem to be missing the stereo components to power the speakers like an AD8. You also don't seem to have any music sources (CD player, radio, etc)

I'm downtown Toronto, if you would like someone to come and have a look.
I have done a ton of RTI systems and am sure I can offer possible solutions that will fit your needs.

Just send me a PM (RC Mail) with some contact info.
