Not directly. If you do a google search for the make/model then RS232 protocol you can usually fins the documentation. Their is more to it then just the string, baud rate, parity, if it needs line feeds or ends, etc.

Oh also have you looked in the rs232 library that comes with ID? that has a decent amount of popular devices.

Yes I had a look,but there is not.
It is for a (British !) player DCS
They say that there use Phillips RC5 protocol
They give a full range of IR code but very few RS functions ??
And no help from the factory
