I have had a weird problem arise after two years of solid operation. My XP8 is no longer reacting to RF trigger codes. The RM-433 is flashing green to show that it has indeed received the RF code, but nothing is happening on the processor. All the system macro codes work through both our ipad and android phone, so I am currently stumped.
Any one have this happen?

Dd you try swapping out the RM-433? It may have gone bad.

Didn't have one lying around, so will pick one up from the shop on the weekend and give it a try. Figured that may be the case, and I will bring an extra power supply for the xp8 as well, but from what I can see, that is not the problem.

I had a similar issue with a RP-6, looked like everything was working fine but swapping antennas didn't fix it...changed the power supply and we were in business.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far. |

I had a similar experience with XP-8 and RM-433, we swapped out the power supply, no change at all, I called RTI tech support a few times until finally somebody told me that the RM-433 in time stops blocking outside RF interference, once I swapped them (though they seemed to work fine), the system went back to proper operation.

Well, it wasn't the RM433 so I will need to try a new power supply. Funny thing is that both Ethernet and Zigbee communications work perfectly, and there appears to be no interference on the RM433.

I am not sure how it would change unless a firmware update was performed and somehow changed the settings, but did you check to make sure the checkbox to allow communication with the RM433 is checked? I am pretty sure the lights would flash with button presses on the RM433 but no signals would be transferred to the equipment. Something small to check but worth a look.

Do you mean under each individual device that the control choice is RF trigger codes? I am drawing a blank on this one as if there is an option on the XP8, I can't seem to find it.
