Anyone know where I can find an Oppo 103 IP driver? Several rs232 drivers out there but nothing for IP control.

I suppose not. Is there any disadvantage using rs232 over ip? Just want to leverage the current technology.

It's the other way around. With RS-232, you have a solid connection and control over the device. With IP, if and when the network goes down, you lose control of the device.

The rs232 driver is on www.mydevice.com.au

I know their was talk of IP control with the newer models but haven't done one recently to see if this was added...

I just implemented IP control (C#/.NET) for OPPO BDP-105. If somebody is interested I can send him my code.

The driver from mydevice allows up control but only on the 105 I believe. The 103 can be done rs232.

I find rs232 to be more reliable. It is a dedicated connection and not dependent on multiple other devices such as routers and switches. The only thing you won't see rs232 that you see IP is cover art.

I've used the driver from my device. Works great! IP on the 105 and rs232 on 103 as someone else had said.
