Couldn't get the CT30 to work .

The Wi-Fi doesn't connected , tried several way with no luck .

Tried adding external 24 volt and no go also .. anyone have experience with this unit ?

The Trane unit working fine with the CT30, i wish i can get the unit to connect to the Wi-Fi and then i will be happy as not many Tstats works with the Trane units and over here most are from Trane .

TIA

Do you have 4 wires or 5 wires from stat to hvac? If only 4, that wil only power the stat, not the wifi card. It requires the fifth wire so it has constant power and not just switched(through heat and cool calls). The wifi setup webserver that is built in is slow to respond, if you started it and it got a hiccup along the way, default the stat and start over. As stated before, make sure you have not just good wifi, but great wifi. We have done 3 projects with these units and the only issues we had were caused by a wap that crapped out and caused intermittent connections.

RTI has these options available:

- Lutron Ra2 (via Honeywell TouchPro)

- Lutron Ra2 (via HVAC controller / see temp keypads)

- Aprilaire

- HAI (requires controller)

- Radio - CT series

- Tekmar

- Coolmaster (allows you to interface with a good amount of proprietary system controllers (i.e. Mitsu City Multi)

- Carrier Infinity (Unsupported Beta driver)

- Z-Wave T-Stats (via Vera Lite)*

* Z-Wave must be tested and added to the Z-Wave driver that is currently found in the "unsupported Drivers" on the RTI Forum. T-Stats from Cooper Aspire and other Z-Wave manufacturers can be made to work.
