Has anyone got a tried and true working IR codes for the Shaw Gateway system?? I've tried the Moxi codes and tried learning then from the remote. Problem is that when your in the guild and try to move up or down, it double skips lines. If you change the file to 0 repeats and no sustain. it will work but is really slow. one press at a time just to move up or down a line. would be nice to be able to hold the up or down and fly through the guild, and when you press up or down once it moves once!

Help

We are having the same issues, it is so important to find a solution for this. Apparently it is a known issue with RTI and Shaw but have no idea if there is a solution on the horizion. I know I am swearing , but Harmony remotes and codes work flawlessly on there Shaw Gateway cable boxes.

Any ideas or news anyone?

I have the same issue. Not just with RTI. Also with Elan's g! and Universal. I have e-mailed both Moxi and Arris about it. I suspect that there may be two IR codes toggling. I sure hope not.

If I hear back from the manufacturer I will pass it along.

Still haven't heard a thing from Arris or Moxi. E-mails, phone calls, carrier pigeon; all falling on deaf ears.

The trouble we are having, is when we capture the codes and load it it a RTI T2c program and into a remote, it works , however on channel up or down , or guide up or down ,it skips two spaces ie channel 201 to channel 203, instead of 202. The first executed channel up works correctly, the second button press goes two spots up (and have heard from other programmers same issue),

That's really weird. I just did a xp-6 t2c set up last week and didn't have that issue. Could be different firmware up here in Canada on our Arris boxes

Not sure on what shaw is, but it looks like it might be using two IR codes? From within ID did you try the "toggle IR code" ? WHen you create a marco its under the command list.

I think we had this issue once before when using IR from windows media center - it would always skip two..

We had the same issue with Shaw on the g! system, if you crank the preamble back as far as it goes (removing the white box around each HEX bar) it worked flawlessly, not sure if it will work for Gateway but we are currently programming a system so I'll see if that works.

paucoin87,keep us posted.

I loaded the Diago 1 codeset in the URC ir data base in an MX850 and codes worked flawlesly, Harmony I understand works flawlessly on Shaw Arris box too.

What up with RTI having issues?

Anyone know if I can get the hex codes from the Diago 1 codes from a MX850 and load them in RTI hex input?
