I have a Sony DA90ESG, so I have little choice for universal remotes. A friend has a Proto, and I was wondering how the RTI compared to it ?

I had a couple of Prontos terminally frezze up on me and the dealer swaped it for the T2 and I never looked back. It fits in the hand just right, the programing and changes are easy. My system is fairly complex and I also have some X-10 stuff, it all works just fine. Took a while and a number of revisions to get it all as I wanted it but now if I want some different function I just plug it in to my pc and twek it a bit. See if you can play with one at a dealer or download the program from RTI and play, you don't need the unit for that. KDM

I have tried most every remote on the market: the T2 is my choice with the RF option- its biggest strengths are the combo of hard buttons and LCD screen, and its ease to program
the only other one to consider is the Pronto Pro but it is not near as easy to program or use

All that gives me is the distributer for Texas. No dealer information. :-(

The RTI is an excellent remote at a nice price point for what it has to offer. We are a dealer on the East coast, does this help you. Are you looking for the remote only or the remote w/ custom programming. The RTI is not a plug and play remote. It requires several hours of programming (software driven), and that's by pros (like us). Please see us on the web for contact information @ www.4iavs.com

I have to add as a former user, that the RTI software is about the best designed and best behaved I have ever seen. If you have ANY technical inclination you will have no problem. Just remember, RTFM before you program your RTI ...
