I am the proud - unhappy discoverer of a flaw in the RTI T2. I am also the only person to discover this flaw. In fact I showed it to RTI themselves.
I am a Pro installer and Programmed the T2 to its memory capacity. 120k out of 128k of memory.
The T2 Memory, consists of two 64k banks of memory.
As the memory got more full the unit slowed down its responce time, slightly. This is to be expected.
My program I created used macro sequences to change pages. I used the: Page link, Pause and Button test (IF-THEN-ELSE) functions. The ideal wa, if a button was momentarly pressed, only a command for a conponent (Reciever CD player ETC...) would be sent. If the same button were to be held down, the command was to execute and the page was to change to the component selected.
The problem I discovered is: that the IF_THEN_ELSE button test would not function properly across the two banks of memory. Some of my macros would work (the ones that loaded completely into one bank), but some of my macros would be spread across the two banks with a half portion of a petricular macro in bank one and the other half in the bank two.
The results of these "Split" macros was: Strange characters, Wrong page jumps and total lockup of the T2. I tested my macros, using only part of my program and consuming only one bank of memory and my macros worked flawlessly.
I then contacted RTI and sent them a copy of my program. They did not seem eager to tackle this problem, but they did help. They told me about a new software upgrade they were developing. But it was six months away from release. I needed it within two week to complete my job.
RTI called me back and offered to exchange my remote for one with newer microprocessor. They stated that this would solve my problem. I will update you as to the results.
While most T2 users will not encounter this strange and rare problem, it just good to know.
As for RTI I have had great experiences with the Company. But they need a toll free tech line during business hours. Their call back method is sorly lacking.

If anyone needs Custom programming / graphics for the T2 or Lexicon. Let me know.
I have a VERY large IR library. Bigger than RTI's

I am a custom installer in NYC and just started programming the RTI'S. RTI's library is very limited I would really like to see what you have by way of IR codes. If you don't mind, it would really help me out.

You have access to all of the codes in the Pronto database as well...
