I know questions have been asked concerning the RTI company and some have responded that they are still in business but at this point in time I'm not sure. After reading RemoteCentral's review on the T2 and doing some research on other remotes I decided on the T2. However, I could only find one place that sold it! After ordering from them (reelhometheater.com) and not getting any remote after a couple of weeks I gave them a call. The phone number posted on their site was not valid. I kept getting a recording stating my call could not go through. Sending an email was unsuccessfull as well as it got returned to me as undeliverable. After calling my credit card company to check to see if I was actually charged for the remote (I wasn't) I went and got the Sony AV3000. Maybe this was the better option since most of my components are Sony. My question is this; does anyone know for sure if RTI is still in business and if so where can I go to purchase the T2?

Although I continue to be wary of RTI's stability, but they are shipping product now. I've gotten 3 in the past week. Let's hope the trend continues.
If you're not having any luck finding RTI dealers, try Sonance dealers as they have access to a version of the remote now as well (and its shipping too).

I have been getting technical assistance from RTI and have no problem in getting T2's or accessories from distributor

when asked about a new version of the T2, they said nothing was planned

I have yet to find a remote that is more functional or flexible as the T2

I am custom installer in the Minneapolis area. I have had the same problem with calling them. But, I was in their office 2 weeks ago and they were still functioning at that time. It didn't appear that they were moving.

yes- I run T2 software on Win XP: it is available on the RTI site for download (free- they do not supply it on CD with the T2 anymore) so it is easy to download and try it

RTI responded promptly to my recent email service request. It turned around the job in two weeks, replacing LCD screen. Better than average service.

Get your money back. These remotes are a major disappointment. Reliablitiy has been poor.

If they worked reliabley, it would be one of the very best remotes made.

ON RTI's behalf, they have stepped up to the plate and replaced many remotes for me. I will no longer sell nor recomend them, untill they have a proven track record.

Mike - Thanks for the feedback.. I agree with you.. I am really upset because the concept is excellent but the realibility is very poor. My remote just went blank!...

How is the theatremax 7000 ? Do you know anything about it?
