I haven't seen any posts regarding the Just Add Power products lately. Anyone using these products and the new 2G products with any success? Any major issues?

As far as control goes I have not heard of any issues. As far as video quality goes, it is far from videophile grade IMHO. I have seen it running at both CES and Cedia a few times over the years...

Was it the 1G or the 2G that you saw? I have not seen any demos firsthand, but supposedly the 2G is "lossless" (according to their site anyway). They pretty much admit that the 1G is not perfect. Just trying to figure out if it is worth looking into.

I have looked at both the1G and 2G. At Infocom they were trying really hard to convince me the 2G picture was fine... lol. Both my partner and I saw the same thing as did others. They were at CES and I took a quick look, saw what I saw before and moved on.

For commercial stuff I agree, it is fine. I am being picky in my critique of the product as well. I image that 90% of the people who look at do not see an issue, maybe higher than that. As in anything out there it is worth a look, I do not want to talk anyone out of that. Is it for a high end residence where video quality is of utmost importance, I would have to say no at this point.
