so this t2c and rp1 work for everything. all of rack is on processor, and the button is in standalone w/ a power off discrete for the sammy led 8000. I even went back to all system files w samsung lcd's and recent led's and this thing powers off but turns back on immediately?

i thought there might be something in the sammy settings, but nothing????? im stumped!! how does one control 100 sammys w discretes but not this one??

Could be a bad learn of a toggle. Where did you get the codes? I assume you do not have a situation where you have a button (or system) macro AND you have a command on the same button or something silly like that.

Pull power to TV to reset or find reset proceedure. Try a standalone direct IR button to eliminate either the code or the processor. Reset the processor.

FYI... today I had a marantz volume control command lock up and continue to ramp from an RK1-8. I had to firmware upgrade it before I could get it to stop.

Change your macro order. Turn off all the devices that provide video signals for the TV first. The TV might have a setting to auto sense if there is a signal and turn it on/off accordingly. I saw this somewhere and I can't remember where.. Check the manual for specifics if you cant find anything that makes sense in the settings.

I would bypass the remote and do it by hand and see what happens.

The only thing worse than the anynet feature is the update firmware nag screen. I made the mistake of leaving an active Ethernet cable plugged into the back of the TV only to have that nag screen pop up just about every two days after doing an update. Some models do not let you turn this feature off.... Grrrr
