I didn't do this with RTI because I am using the Samsung with an RP1 but wanted to see if it worked. So I just did it with a termina application. You obviously need the proper cable. [Link: dcables.net]. I had one from the Niles Art or you could wire it up yourself, it's outlined in the documentation. A nice thing in the Hotel mode is you can set the startup input. I did do this so it always turns to HDMI1 when it starts up.

You might be able to get it working via TCP/IP with a hacked firmware. These guys are doing some crazy stuff. I would turn the unit on and test the power off command i that works then test the power on command because people claim the power on command doesn't work with some of the Samsungs.

I have access to the TV at the moment so I could walk through some stuff if you have any questions.

Alan has a friend who says you don't have to put it into hotel mode. But I just followed the documentation and it worked. also there is another way to get into service menu for some models.
