It's been so long since I did an IR repeater with a macro-driven remote that I completely forgot about the whole "keep pointing the remote at the TV" thing.  I've done a few IR repeaters lately, but they've all been with a cable box as the only source - so the only remote being used was the OEM cable remote.

One thing I never liked about the T1 (and I haven't used a T1-B yet) was how it never goes to an "OFF" page.  I love the remote, but I don't like that when you turn the system off and pick it up later the last used source button lights up.  Not very intuitive.  Why didn't they just put an LED behind the Power Off button?  Does the T1-B do this also?  I didn't see an "OFF" page in the programming for that model either.

edit - on a side note, before I came here my company NEVER did RF bases.  They did a mix of both URC and RTI.  Even at $399 the RP-1 was about the same MSRP as the friggin expensive Xantech plasma IR kits they were using.  And why in the HELL would you install an IR repeater with a URC remote when you can get the RF base for $149??  I went on service call after service call where the IR sensor fell off, or fell behind the TV, or the plug for the IR hub came loose and the sensor stopped working, etc...and these were ALL jobs with either an MX-850 or T2+.  Drove me nuts.
