Is the remote enitrely inactive until a connection is established when waking from sleep?
Using a T2Cz I have a system maco to turn on tv/rec/etc and then on the remote itself it links to another page.
When waking from sleep I hit the button, get feedback (beep/active state) but nothing happens (as to be expected until connection is established) but it also does not change the page as I thought it would given that that is a local feature not requiring a connection.
Does the remote not change the page because the macro is not run?

Sorry basically I am trying to verify that the Zigbee remote can do nothing until it establishes the connection.

Yes, it's true that a zigbee remote cannot do anything until a connection is established. I think what you want to know is if there is any way to "force" the remote to connect with touching it. (sending it a macro from a processor)

Really it was a thought regarding setup a macro on the remote that calls a macro from the system. Only once the one device macro can complete call the system macro for what you really want...but I guess no go with that either. Just stuck with the 2 second delay when waking from sleep.
