Just did an HT job and used a 46" 6000 series Sammy LED. The customer already had a T2+ we sold him 6 months ago.
After reprogramming everything worked great.
One week later the customer called with a no signal complaint. When I went to his house I noticed the source on the Flat Panel wasn't changing. So, I added a few repeats and delays, one more source command just to be safe and the problem was resolved. [What Changed]?

Two days later he called again and said the picture "goes to snow", when he changes channels, either direct access or scan, but not all the time. When he presses "Watch Cable" the picture returns. I haven't seen the complaint yet, but it sounds like the TV source is changing to ant. input.
I don't usually have problems with Integration Designer software. Once a remote is programmed, it stays programmed. What's going no?

Thanks,
GP

Programming doesn't change on it's own... EVER!

You have one of two things happening... maybe both:

1. The HDMI control is turned to ON in the TV/DVD or other peice of equipment.

2. (MOST LIKELY) The HDMI input command that you are using is acting as a toggle. I don't remember what models had this issue, but it was with either HDMI 1 or 2 that would act as a toggle.

BOTH of these issues could be combining to cause your problem.

Assuming you are using HDMI inputs: Take the same command and place it on the remote, in standalone, and fire it at the TV a couple times. I bet it goes between HDMI and tuner.

Andy, thanks. It sounds plausible. I'll let you know when I return to the customers house next week.

By the way, there are better codes available for proper discrete HDMI inputs. Do a search, I found them here on RC, if memory is correct. Unfortunately i don't have them on this laptop.

+1 had this happen to a recent samsung plasma. also I would put the samsung in hotel mode and force it to start on HDMI1

If memory serves, it was the HDMI 2 that was the problem.

I had a problem with HDMI 1 with the toggle. Can't speak about HDMI2. The 2007 samsung discrete codes in URC are suppose to be the best. They aren't in any of the RTI databases I've seen.
