I have recently put in a Samsung Blu-ray 3600 - For some reason the IR emitters are flashing continuously whenever the player is playing a movie or even in the menus. As soon as the player shuts off the flashing stops. The wireless dongle is not in the player. Any ideas?

More info needed. Is there an RF processor in the system? If so can you move the RM-433? In the system properties of the processor have you tried changing the IR pass thru settings? Just some ideas.

Move the RM433/RP1 and turn off the IR passthrough.
The drive on the BluRay players puts off all kinds of RF noise... some more than others.

Sorry people, I totally forgot to mention the setup - RP-6 and antenna are right one shelf up above the Blu-ray and Dish DVR and, the RP-6 is also on the same shelf as the modem and wireless router and X-Box360 (hardwired into router)- all crammed behind the center channel on a 4 foot wide tv 3 shelf stand - never happened until the 3600 came into play, and only blinks when the Blu-ray is on, and not all the time at that - sometimes it just stops for no apparent reason and doesn't come back on until next time - is it doing any damage because I can live with it until I move and relocate the antenna to a better place - thanks again for the advice everybody

I have had constant interference kill an RM433. It's only happened a couple times, but it's worth looking at the RM433 when the flashing is happening... like I said, the BD drives create a ton of RF noise.

The RTI specs clearly state to move the antenna away from the equipment. Is there any way to get the RM-433 antenna out of there? Its really not doing anything unexpected - that'sWHY the instructions say to move the RM-433 away X amount of feet. I usually like to move it anywhere > 8-10 feet from the rack and equpment and about 6-8 feet high for best results.

I will try to move it - I have since noticed that it only does it when my TV is on - a Samsung 50"DLP - as soon as the tv is turned off the flashing stops - wierd
