Hey guys, been a long time since last post. I just purchaced a new home and I am going about rewiring it. I have 2 RTI t-3's and RP6 that I plan on using. I have 2 DN 722k receivers, both of them operating in dual mode. In the living room I have it connected via HDMI to my plasma, and in my sunroom I have it connected wirelessly with some terk repeaters. I plan on hard wiring to the sunroom but the second output is only via coax or composite video. Is there anyway to get a better picture from the second output or would it require another receiver. Also can I program a universal remote to control the second output instead of using DN's remote. I have searched and searched and have only found threads that are over 2 years old and nothing about the 722. I would like to eventually wire everything through my AV receiver zone 2 output so I can get more then just Satellite out in the sunroom. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

I believe one of the downfalls to that box is that the 2nd output is low resolution (480i) and the 2nd zone is RF only. I have only messed the DN a few times and this issue came up...
When good enough is not good enough.

True for the RF 480i output only. You can add the Dish TV2 IR Converter Kit to gain IR control over TV2. If you want better resolution you need another box.

If you dont mind watching the same tuner or channel on both you could send HDMI to one and send the component to the other. Then also send the room 2 out to another input on the sunroom TV so if somebody is watching in the main zone and you want something different in TV2 you can just switch inputs on the TV.

Not sure if dish included a code for the mode button though.
