I am interested in purchasing the RTI T2, but have been reading through older messages on this site and have seen a few posts about RTI going out of business. Has any one else heard this or otherwise? I am really interested in this remote for it’s RF capability, but I have read posts that it is not very reliable. Has any one had experience with this? I also am considering the Marantz Rc9200. Thanks for any information that any one has.

Jason, I am having a Lexicon MC12 installed this tuesday and my installers said the RTI was the only way to go.I have heard good things about the pronto which I think builds the Marantz. RTI makes the real expensive remote for lexicon which I think is over 1500. I'm told they are doing real well as a company. Anyway my guys love it. Tom

Tom,

Thank you for your reply. I really like the features and reviews that I have been reading about the RTI remote. I just did not want to spend that kind of money on a remote that may not be around much longer. It is comforting to know that they are producing remotes for a major company and most likley will be around for some time.

RTI sold the lexicon 700T to the Harman Group. They no longer produce it. They were in fact refinanced inJuly of this year to keep them going however.
