Yes, the old Polk sirius tuner uses the same IR codes as the SCH2P and the new SRH2000. I can send you known IR codes in a document if you need. The adaptor cable that came in the box is to convert the old non-standard IR input connector to standard 2 conductor IR systems such as Niles, URC, RTI, etc. The 3 position switch on the back must be set for IR control.

Well first let me say I'm sorry I put this in the RTI forum, I know this is not an RTI issue.

Second I should thank everybody for the help, especially A^@D. I have received a couple emails from reps that lurk in these forums and my own sales rep mentioned it to me today on the phone while I was placing another order.

Now back to the issue, I have tried the codes listed above which are also the same codes Glack emailed me (thanks), and they did not work. Is there anyway I can start the process of elimination?

My problem could potentially be the following:
Incorrect codes
improper "learning" of the codes from the RTI M2 into the Niles ZR8630
the 1/8" mono cable connected from the ZR8630 to the SCH2P
the Niles ZR8630 may have a problem
the Sirius SCH2P may have a problem

I think I will take a RP1 to the job and try sending the commands from the RP1 to the SCH2P. This will confirm the correct codes, test the cable, and may point me to the Niles. I will also try learning the codes at different distances from the IR receiver on the ZR8630.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
