My old AV guy set up my rig with a T3. He no longer does this, and I got a new STB that I need to add support for. He gave me the software, but I forgot to bring it with me when I upgraded to Windows 7. Can anyone help me?

Yes, yes someone can. The former dealer who gave it to you in the first place. Otherwise, you can contact a dealer in your area, and have them add the programming to the remote that you want.

Ya know I really don't like anonymous profiles, how do we know that josheee12 did not just buy a pile o RTI off ebay and now is looking to acquire the software through deception? Certainly The "dealer" he got the software through in the first place would have told him something like don't tell anyone where you got this, it is dealer only shhhh. With that in mind why would he just burst onto the scene here looking for someone to hand him the software if he already new it was dealer only?

"He gave me the software, but I forgot to bring it with me when I upgraded to Windows 7"  Forgot to bring it from where?

"josheee12" what state and city do you live in? If you are legitimate we will see if there is a dealer out there near you who is willing to help out for a few $$$

This was his story back in November

So it seems he did have the software at some stage.

Hmm, so since the friends father used to be a distributor, then he must still know someone in the biz who can help?

I recieved a T3 as a gift from a friend's father, from when he used to be a distributer for RTI. He gave me the software,

Either way, he hasn't responded to either posts. He' just a post-em-and-leave-em kind of guy.
