I cannot seem to control this Comcast cable box by learned IR codes

what am I missing?

Nothing, The RNG line of boxes are difficult to control, Just when you think you have it, you dont

Have been quite a few posts about these boxes and controlability of them and it seems the reliability of control is low. Many have had clients request a different box..Like a DCT where control has been reliable in the past

Why would you need to learn it? The codes are in the ID7 master list as well as the Mega list. The RNG200 and the RNG150 use the same codes, AFIK.

well I downloaded the manual
not a bad box: quick channel change with fixed output resolution
