someone at www.homeautomationnet.com said that his clients all have problems with this rf device ?,he said to go with a Xantec 291 kit with the T-2 remote ?
he said a wired system will always work properly.
I have a bad line of site from remote to components,he said this setup would work well with the T-2 ??
but if the irf-6 does a better job....then that's the setup I want, just don't understand too much about this stuff.

The location of the antenna is critical. the closer it is to you the better. Don'y bury it in a closed cabinet and have it away from other electronics.

Gary :, I decided to go with the xantec 291 kit since it's much cheaper {$70.00 compared to $350.00},and I'm only going to use it in the one room.I guess I really didn't need an RF setup.
but with this T-2 remote,I can allways upgrade when the time comes !
thanks,

I use a T2 with a IRF6 and the standard antenna. At times I have thought my problems were due to bad reception but each time the problem was in my macros or single commands. There is a optional half wave antenna that should improve reception if that indeed is the problem. KDM
