I have like 10 options to choose from for fonts in ID. Is there a way to access all of my fonts? Is it that only specific types of fonts will work?

Im being super lazy here, havent searched for the info. Im at a job and had a few minutes to post while a program compiles so i thought i would ask.

Thanks

ID will only support the fonts within the program

But you being a super duper graphics guy, Im sure you could modify the existing graphics to suit your needs??

I have sent several requests for more fonts

I try and stay away from text graphics as much as possible when working on templates. Its the difference sometimes in 1 button vs 100.

lol

When i first started posting here a couple years ago i was working on a small 10 zone 'system builder' system by myself. I would post whenever i was compiling the program because it took 10-20 minutes each time.

My boss starts calling me and asking me how im getting anything done because he keeps seeing me post :)

The font limitation is not ID7. It is the limitation of the remote itself. They can only store so many fonts on the remote (K4 or T2C ect....)

Makes sense.. just wish they would let us choose a font or 2 (symbols) for project defaults vs limiting us to the ones they selected.

One thing i can say about ID is that its super stable for me. I havent experienced a single crash while using it. Crestrons VTPro-e has many more features but it occasionally crashes. My recent experience with HAI's software makes VTPro-e seem rock solid :).

I wonder how many of the ID 'limitations' are responsible for the stability of the software.

That's a great point. A lot of times we want more capabilities, neglecting to remember that more capabilities always means more complicated and it just makes sense that it could mean more difficulty making it stable.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
