I have been VERY frustrated with this company. I have the T2 for about a year now and my power adapter keeps failing!!! The company states they have had problems with them and each time they send me one they claim the problem is fixed! I have had it with them. Now i try and call and I never get an answer. I seriously think they are going out of business. Anyone have any simily problems or ideas??? Will [email protected]

Nope. My installer won't even return my calls about it. I'm on my third one. The last transformer smoked up the kitchen when it blew, and scared the hell out of my 7 year old.

Will,
No you are not the only one having trouble with power pack and charger. We have replaced in the neighborhood of 20 units in the last 2 months. The company says that they have solved the problem, but untill I get all the bad ones out of my system I cannot say for sure. We install on the average over 20 of these units per month (when we can get them in stock!!). Again they have assured us that the problem is fixed and they have replaced all the defective units that we have had.

First of all, dont send them back to RTI, clip off the TIP and go to your local electronics store and by a BETTER quality power pack. It works just fine VS the ones which they keep changing. Second of all, they justy MAY be going out of business. 3 weeks ago, all of there phones were disconected, then they have ZERO inventory of anything and they wont be going to CES.....what do you think will happen?

Rick,
Can you specify exactly what kind of commercial battery pack to look for?
Thanks.

The problem with the power suppies is power pack connector pulls loose from the charger. This causes the power supply to short. I now hard wire all power supplies to the internal terminal strip in the charger. I have not had a failure since doing this.
