Change the firmware so that when signal to 1 antenna is 20% better then another the remote jumps to the better signal.

Having to reboot the remote or waiting for a timeout is as Liz Lemon would say "Deal Breaker".

I am surprised that there is no fix for this yet.

Shouldn't it be simple to allow for channel hopping, similar to a mesh Wi-Fi network?

This is the #1 reason I am staying away from the Zigbee lineup right now, the first two I put in worked fine, they were small dedicated home theaters which worked fine.

I almost lost my shirt on a larger multi-zone project where distributed audio was controlled from several roaming T2-C's, luckily, the customer ended up not really needing to move the zone remote controls as much as he thought he would initially.

I am hoping there is some sort of solution in the works, it seems awfully cheap to have a customer re-booting remotes on a complex and expensive control system.

Maybe they should work it backwards and just create an app for the Touch and use wifi.Lets face it, for the hardware cost starting at $200, will there really be a more interactive device than the Touch. Heres an idea, make a topless remote that the Touch can slide into and run 433 and Wifi and make a charger for both. There it is, solving the worlds problems!
