I was having a similar issue with a system a couple weeks ago.

I was using several RK3s and some RM433 remotes. When I plugged the CB8 into the XP8 it killed the RM433 control.

I swapped the CB8 with a known working CB4, didn't change. I swapped in a known working XP8 and didn't solve the problem. Brett was as dumbfounded as I was. What I don't understand is that I've set up a bunch of other systems this way and it was never an issue. Issue in the firmware updates?

Here is a possible solution for you:

The RK3s (assuming you have them connected to a network) send all of their communication via the ethernet connection. So you can use the Phoenix connectors and just run power/ground to the RK3. Use the RJ45 connection for the RK2.

I fixed the two panels not wanting to work at the same time. It was a bad termination of the cat5 connector. I used the connecter that the wires go all the way thru. It was trimmed cleanly but must not have been. I swapped the ends for connectors that will not allow the wire to go all the way thru
