So I cant get a zigby version of the T2C to play nicely in a system. A ton of interference and I have never had interference issues with RTI. I dont want to reprogram the entire system. We are not using 2way in this system. In fact I went with the zigbee version because it was in stock and the 433 was not.

So....Is it possible to convert the file from zigbee to 433?

You can disable 2-way in the device properties, as well as uncheck the firmware upgrade and also make it RF one way. That should allow you to use the T2-C Zigbee as a 433 remote.

No way. They are different remotes. I imagine I need to replace the T2C zig and ZM24 for a T2C and RM433. The interference was coming in the communication to the ZRP6 via the ZM24 antenna.

You'll probably have to create a new 433 remote, make sure all your hard buttons that are Global on the Zigbee T2-C are also set to Global on the new 433 T2-C, then go to File/Merge Pages, then select "another device in this system", then Select All, then OK.

Your 433 remote should be identical to the Zigbee one.  I haven't done this, so I can't confirm that there isn't some buggy behaviour.  You should try it and go through the new remote programming with a fine tooth comb to find any errors.

How far away do y ou have the ZM24 from the equipment? I found that out the first time I installed one, can't have it anywhere close like you could the RM433.

It is about 7 feet from the gear but about 3 feet from the TV. This is as far as I can get it in this project. I placed it further away with a long CAT5 cable and it didnt help.

I have done this at my home. I can't remember if I duplicated the remote or just merged all pages, but it worked fine. Obviously you will have to change any feedback features like page flips in a macro, but it will work.

zbova was almost right.

You have to make sure all codes are sent RF one way. But of course you have to load the new file into a 433 version of the T2C and use an RM433.

Fail. Its a forum requirement that you have at least 100 posts before you throw in the classic "2 weeks" reply.
