I just wanted to let all you guys know I decided to create a template for the T2-Cs and offer it as a free download on my website. I created all new buttons to fit the grid system that this particular remote uses in the editor and I also created a custom set of activity icons and a complete set of channel icons for SiriusXM and DirecTV.

I noticed the page wizard and the image library are very limited for this remote because of the auto button positioning and size restrictions on the buttons themselves. If anyone had ideas for additional buttons you would like to see, let me know and I can usually add them in pretty quickly.

I will add this to the download section soon but you can download it from the following page for right now.

Enjoy.

Sweet work Noel. I don't use that remote at all, but I am sure that a lot of the guys/gals around here do and will surely appreciate the added template.

You're welcome, I will delete that extra page and re-upload the file.

I didn't realize that the T2-Cs had it's own specialized UI and those headers and footers that cant be moved or deleted. I was trying to help a friend the other night when it dawned on me that I had no template for this remote and it would have to made to work around the grid system. I tried using the image library to put together a quick file for a friend but quickly gave up and decided to make one from scratch.

All this time, I was under the impression the T2-C and Cs shared the same resolutions and could be converted to work with each other.

Joey,

The T2-Cs is kind of a pain. I noticed RTI didn't have anyone create custom graphics for the library like they did in the past with the T3-V. They just put together a few pre-made page wizard layouts using buttons that somewhat fit from the library. I would have been happy to put together a complete Curacao template for that remote if they wanted me to.

Since everything snaps into place, the GUI flexibility is extremely limited, but I figured out some work arounds that allowed me get it to look the way I wanted. This is why I put the extras pages on there with all of the different button combinations and sizes so they could be quickly cut and pasted into other pages. Hopefully, this will speed things up for people who use this remote quite a bit.

We've been doing a lot of T2CS's as of late. and they are a pain. Ive had to build decent looking pages and its been a rough road. Ive got some nice template pages built but damn, you have done the apple page just as I wanted but never had the time...Excellent job! Ive got some nice red/green/blue/yellow (a,b,c,d) buttons Ive made that I could share.

I just uploaded an update to the free T2-Cs template. I changed all of the original backgrounds that were included to a set of bars on the top and bottom headers that are uneditable for this remote. It gives them a nicer look and isn't so ordinary. I added a set of themed backgrounds made just for the T2-Cs as well.

You can still download the complete file with the new updates from this link:

or you can just download the new backgrounds from this link:

LOL not a lot of customization on the T2-Cs, I see.  Here's mine.  (been playing with my monitor's screen settings, that's why there's two format buttons right now)

Sofa,

There are extra pages with different size buttons for cut / paste so you can put as much or as little as you like on each source page. Some like bigger buttons over multiple pages and others like everything on one page. I made it flexible for this very reason.

I would much rather get everything on one page if possible. So do those small buttons meet your "minimum button size?"

I just need to pick up a remote and load up the file to check it out.

Great work though and thanks for being so generous.

I believe the Grid is a 6X6.

I wouldnt want to use a 1X1 button, I usually use a 2X2 or 3X2. The color buttons on my screen above is a 3X1
