Anyone else in need for a 2 way Jandy driver? Almost every job we do has one. The more requests RTI gets, the more attention- shoot them a request.

Seems like most pools have a Jandy unit involved, sadly I know the part number by heart... How about Pentair, we run into them on occasion as well.

2-way with pool equipment is pretty cool I have a client whose main home is in NY so he logs into the home controller and turns on the heat to the jacuzzi. By the time he is in LA the jacuzzi is warm and ready for him...

We do a lot of pool wiring during the summer and unfortunately the company we work for only works with Goldline Aqualogic. Which means I'm screwed for any drivers coming soon. But I agree that the pool control is really important. Let's just hope they will allow outsiders the ability to write their own drivers. I know it will be an unsupported nightmare if they don't work but to me it's worth the hassle.

That is what the pool companies around us use almost exclusively.
My vote is for Pentair.

IMO pentair has a far less superior control system next to "Jandy's Aqualink RS".

non the less, their should be no excuse in not having a code set for us. I dont understand, why can you automate you biggest investment with "relative" ease but when it comes to pools your stuck with just sending commands.

Of course im sure it has to do with these companies wanting to sell their own remotes. which are a total rip.

I know at this point, they are not working on the Jandy driver. I would suggest everyone emailing RTi support and specifically asking for the JANDY driver. I have given them the contacts and everything.

I have offered to write the driver if RTI would provide the source codes. No reply back from RTI.

The Jandy (aqualinks) remote system is terrable. I have some folks looking to install a RTI system (T3V and XP8) JUST to control the pool since the remote Jandy is soooo bad. Folks are willing to spend the money to have a reliable pool control. Not everyone is only interested in JUST controlling AV.

If you want I can PM you with contact info. It comes down to $$$$. RTI wants a demo system and Jandy doesn't know who RTI is.

The driver issue is totally on RTI here, not Pentair or Jandy!!
