What are you guys using when the client wants a zone system and intercom capabilities? I want to stick w/ RTI touchpads and keypads in the rooms.

Just use the ST-7 and K10, they both have IP intercom built-in. You will only have to wait [insert RTI joke here] and spec a $10,000 system to get a cool intercom solution.

2nd the OnQ. Resi-grade, works fine, cheap. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE ONQ POWER SUPPLY! Grab one off the shelf at Fry's and you will regret it.

Tell them to buy cordless phones with intercom. Sorry, I think intercom is a waste of money and is more wall acne. But if you have to then go with Onq. I'm trying to figure out if I want to sell the customer K4's now or sell them K3's now and rip them out when the ST7 comes out. But you know even when the ST7 comes out (probably late next year) you'll still have to wait another year before the intercom will work. So I'm not sure I want to give up the sale of the K4's but the wall dock with intercom will be insane! Plus the ST7 is Hot!
