I can't get a complete upload on a T3-V through wifi.  The remote works fine and I update our T4 and XP-8 through a wifi connection just fine.  The T3-V will start to download and get as far as 90%+, then crash.  To fix it I have to reload the firmware (2.1) and download th program via USB.

Anyone else see this?

Jim, I don't normally bag RTI BUT, the wireless card in the T3-V makes it, bar none, the worst product I have had the misfortune to use! I have a T3-V I bought to use as a demo, how the hell can I sell something so bad?

I think you're lucky to be able to get this POS to even do as much as you've done so already. If downloading via USB works then I'd leave it at that. Like you, I also have a T4 that downloads via wifi without a problem, as long as I 'wake it up' before the download.

I believe the wifi shuts off with the display to save battery life. I have found that if you keep the display active it will usually download entirely. The trick is to keep the display on that long. If you keep tapping the screen it will stay on and download, but it might be easier to plug in the usb! It would be nice if they could download via zigbee.

Jim, same problem here. Get to 90%, looses comm, then "program corrupted" with the yellow ! icon

I know it;s not the card, b/c i've tried it 10' wawy from the WAP, while shaling teh T3v to keep it from going to sleep.

I think it's just their shit wireless card and probably some shoddy engineering.

I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't.

Yeah I'm not loving the wifi on these things.  The 2-way on the T4 works pretty damn well, though.  However, I had a problem with 2 pages on the T4...  One page was an IP cam stretched across the whole screen except for the Oasis 'quick menu' bar at the bottom.  Somehow when someone hit the IP cam button, the IP cam opened (which was just an Internet Explorer object calling up live video from an Arecont Vision cam), but the bottom part of the screen stayed at where it was on the home page.... which didn't have a Home button so it got stuck like that.  I've never seen ANYTHING like that on an RTI remote, but this is the third or fourth time I've had the Internet Explorer object cause a remote to lock up so bad I had to reboot it.
