i gotta T2C that had to be serviced and now i gotta T1 i just did 4 mo ago and no charge outta the dock. i got 4.6volts off the charger, and when i disconnect the battery and put in the dock the light comes on??? WTF is goin on w rti lately....the remote actually still works so i think its charging somehow, just inconsistently

T1 is an old one, and that is an old problem. I just changed out a base station for a customer that had the same problem.

I had to solder the contacts in the bases of two T3s of older vintage. Maybe the same issue? Take it apart and have a look. Quick fix if that's all it is.

RTI came out with a really shitty batch of batteries and they have dumped the problem off on us. I lost track of how many batteries I have had to replace. Just last week we had a project that was done this summer and both batteries would not hold a charge after only a few months. I guess you should be glad it was not the buldging battery "feature"... lol

thast exactly it!!! the t1 is 4 months old. i got 4.6 at charger!! i disconnect the battery and all is good charger lights up and everything.

this guy is already pissed at the "shitty eqipment from a shitty company" i have provied him with. i already ate the 130 from the t2c getting fixed whats he gonna say when i tell him his bedrm remote he just paye dfor is bad too!!
