What about the RK3-V?

Is it in ID7.1? Shipping?

No RK3-V in ID 7.1... I'm waiting to hear back on it's release date.... For some reason I thought December...

I still cannot update my XP8: tried everything: it goes into update mode and I get confirming USB connection but wizard never lets me click next

GRRRRRR

this is just a mess: I am ready to give up on RTI: wasted 3 hours on this so far

BTW: have 2 XP-8's in the system: same issue with both

any other ideas to get this pile of junk to work?

I have only been able to update firmware using WinXP. When trying with Vista, or Win7 32 and 64bit, it would never work. Are you using Vista?

I tried 2 different WIN 7 machines: one 32 bit, one 64 bit: no good

I will try XP next

Thanks

Interesting...says ID works with Windows 7 in the readme. Looks like the firmware upgrades are having driver problems with W7 PC's. Both ID and firmware updates worked fine for me...on XP, though.

Love the ability to play a sound and wake up an in-wall from two way. This is cool... I can detect motion at the front door, wake the K4 in the kitchen, "speak" Motion At Front Door and flip the the Front Door Camera. After 20 seconds, page back to the previous page. Too cool. Someone in a thread awhile back told me I should be looking at Crestron to do something like this....guess not.

It would be nice if the PCM-8 had two-way RS232. It still leaves us with only eight 2 way ports.

Hello! Where could I download firmware 2.0 for RK3?
Is there anyone who'd leave me?

You get it from the RTI dealer portal.

Is there anyone who'd leave me?

Probably.
