anyone use these? thoughts? and wondering if Discrete on/off works? i went thru mega 18, alot of code sets w/ the c750 but no discretes. Im new to yammys and still working on what works and what doesnt. thanx in advance

have you tried the old workaround??
Play, stop for on and a play, power for off
If your using a T2C, or better, open the library and start testing with the remote connected to the usb, and try all the dvd codes
Point the remote at the dvd, and highlite the power codes and test until you find one. if no codes work other than power use the workaround

thanx glack,
i have but i dont really like it. i never works out smoothly for me and i find at the end the homeowner leaves it on by mistake. maybe im doing it wrong? i dont knowjust thought some one would have a file where they used this they would share.
im using a t2+ w a rp1 for control and using the cd part for a z2 app

another quick testing I use for T1, T2+ remotes is create a Test program and add a remote of each commonly used remotes
Open it and add ir commands to the screen or buttons, then upload and test.
It works good for macro testing too. When you find a working code use it when you reopen your client program
Seems to save me some time in need of code hunting.

doesn't yamaha have a dealer website with all the IR codes? I'd ask your Rep.
