I don't know how I did this but some how I lost the Communications and other tool bars that would sit above the workspace in ID7. I've tried everything I can think of but can't find an option to bring it back. Any Ideas?

you dragged the toolbar off of the menu bar...  I just dragged mine off and closed it to see if you could do it - now mine's gone, too!  LOL

Hey SSS just jumped off the cliff, Jim went over after him! Do you think they are OK down there? Uh, I don't know, maybe we should all jump off and check on them.

Great. Now we can flood Tech Support with phone calls about how to get the tool bars back. I'm sure the guys with 2 way issues won't mind sitting on hold longer.

OK try this, drag both the right library browser and left system work space windows as far left and right as you can, if you can see even a hint of blue from the now floating tool bar, double click the blue and it will snap back into place up at the top.

For everyone else who feels like a rebel, at the very far left of the upper tool bar is a teeny tiny vertical white rectangle if you double click on this the bar will detach and become a floating bar.

The same is true of the lower tool bar

Seems to possibly be a Bug. I opened up TT6.2 and closed bothe the Alignment and standard toolbars, then right clicked the Grey area where they usually are and small drop down appeared and then clicked on standard and alignment and both came back.

This drop down is gone in ID 7.01

I tried the Minimize toolbars as well as system workplace and Library Browser, but no luck, The Standard toolbar is gone. Alignment came back when I reopened ID7.

Not sure where the standard toolbar went now????

Hey, I only did it on my home computer that only gets used to update my personal remote.  I'm not THAT stupid.  :)

Ok the fix is to close ID7, Now Press and hold Control (Ctrl) and Shift keys.

While holding those, open ID7 back up, and click yes on reset windows (small pop up box) This will restore your toolbars

WTF is that?  Is that some sort of global Windows thing I've never heard of?

That is something in ID7. It doesnt really reset anything else other than ID7. I think it just resets the RTI windows. Nothing in M$
