If you use the channel macro wizard, there is the option on the opening page for IR routing as you pick your remote. Also on any page you can grab multiple buttons by clicking, holding, and dragging to highlight multiple buttons, then right click and push edit macro IR routing. Hope this helps, should steer you in the right direction. I don't have the program open, but from memory this seems right.

Yes.  It's per button, not per page.  You can control it on any button or inside any macro.

You can select any hard buttons by dragging and they will turn red.  Then right click and you can go into edit properties and IR Routing and select any outputs you want the commands to come out of.  For buttons on the screen you can Ctrl-Click or Shift-Click to select multiples or Ctrl-A to select all buttons on the screen.  You can also right click and go into "Macro IR Routing" if you need to change the routing of a macro and not a single IR command.

Note that if you do Ctrl-A and you have some macros that are in standalone mode, you'll get an error that None of the selected macros go to a processor with IR routing capability.

You can change it in individual macros by opening the macro and double clicking each command and setting the port to use

Make sure you name the ports in the properties of the RP-6/XP-8...right click the processor in the system workplace(left side of screen) then click port names

When selecting the routing port while in the macro editor, you can hold control(CTRL) button down and clicking the port you want to use, will uncheck the rest.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

i think it was because i had them on the wrong output,
i think i had them in standalone mode? and they had to be in ir trigger mode?

once i changed the output it let me choose the ir routing,
before that it was greyed out.

thanks for your help guys,
yesterday was my first RTI day out in the field,
and it was great!

ill get pictures or video up soon showing my first set ups . .
