1.  You can't "transition" them.  If you have, say, 10 please wait pages that make up an animation, you have to link to each one with your delays between each page flip.  What you CAN do is if you have multiple buttons that are going to use the same animation is to go ahead and put together your standalone macro with the page flips the way you like it, then copy that button to any others that will use the animation.  THEN add in your commands and system macros to each individual button.

2.  Can't do it.  (feel free to prove me wrong here, I'd like to know how to do it)

1. i cant seem to figure out how to add page jumps to a macro for some stupid reason.

2. i was thinking that at the end of every macro i can do a 5 minute timer and then have it jump to home page.

Put the button you want to add the animation to in "standalone" mode, and then add page jumps in the macro wizard.

Like Joey said, you have to right click the button to go to  properties, then Output tab, then select Standalone.

If you do a 5 minute delay at the end of a macro, you won't be able to do ANYTHING until the 5 minutes is up.

Sleep macro is actually system macro(s) inside an XP-8.  That's the only RTI piece that can do anything based on time; other than just delays in between commands.

The RK3 has a clock but it's not implemented for macros, system or standalone. If you want the RK3 to time out to a default page while allowing a user to press buttons and trigger other macros, you need an XP8 and at the moment, ethernet to the XP8 and RK3.

The XP8 can process more than one macro at a time, it can trigger macros from input besides from the interfaces (such as time and contact sense) and as part of those macros it can tell 2-way interfaces to jump to pages (among other things). This is what allows it to run a countdown to page-flip while still letting you trigger other macros/send IR/232. The RP6 would be locked up by a countdown macro, and couldn't flip pages on the RK3 anyway.

I'm looking forward to the smaller two way processors (ZRP 5 and 6) as the change in capabilities and the way you approach a project is a bit drastic between the RP6 and XP8.
