Does anyone has try to control HTPC with K4/T4.
If you want 2 way communication Autonomic controls is the only one I have found.
Does it works good? Is there are other solution for this?

Thanks

I haven't tried Autonomic so I cant give any feedback on that but....

I've started testing my own web base app to control htpc/appletv as an "overlay" for the T4, still in the early phases but looks promising.

We have done it with 3 K4's so far, really slick interface and especialy the setup utility is super easy. Vista is a pain to deal with when it comes to servers , clients and so forth, but the Autonomic interface is great, cant wait to try it with windows 7

I haven't seen it either but have been nervous b/c its dependent on the PC. Does it work to control an Apple TV? If so, that could be a stable way to go.
do wino hue?

No we dont use Apple TV. We need it just for music and videos from our library.
So we can display information and covers. For T4 this function works ok?

Personally I would just make my own GUI and use a 3rd party device to stream the media off a mini server. I Don't like the fact the home owners computer has to be on and running a media server with Autonomic. (But thats just me)

Edit:Hmm just noticed you were asking about a HTPC, In that case I would try soemthing like urc PSX-2, even tho I havent had experience with it yet it "says" it can stream your iTunes music with meta data for remotes and GUI for on screen navigation, what I'm not sure about is if it can handle streaming your stored videos
